Summary
Complex Care Assistant needed!
You’ll provide essential care and support to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring they can live with dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Personalised Care: Deliver tailored care, including personal hygiene, feeding, mobility assistance, and emotional support.
- Medication Support: Administer or assist with prescribed medications following care plans.
- Daily Living Assistance: Support with household tasks, meal preparation, and activities.
- Monitoring: Observe and report changes in physical or mental health to healthcare professionals.
- Companionship: Build trusting relationships with clients to enhance their overall well-being.
Requirements
- Experience in complex care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory (training provided).
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is advantageous.
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive approach.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights.
- Driving License is favoured.
