Full time hours on a temporary basis
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated individual to join our team, focusing on the administration of local taxation legislation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in establishing correct liability and eligibility for discounts and exemptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize NEC and I@W processing systems proficiently.
- Bring a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a revenues team, ideally in billing.
- Administer local taxation and respond to inquiries in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Negotiate payment plans for outstanding tax debts.
- Identify and support vulnerable customers, ensuring they receive appropriate assistance.
- Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Investigate and respond to member inquiries and complaints within established deadlines.
- Process incoming communications via phone, email, and correspondence, meeting set targets and deadlines.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
