We have a strong committed, enthusiastic team who pride themselves on providing a home from home experience for all our residents.

Life of the party or always the designated events planner? We have an enriching job for you…

Setting the scene

Our picturesque period home is nestled in vibrant grounds creating an elegant environment for our residents to live their best lives in a homely community. Sherwood House provides compassionate and dedicated care for our elderly residents who call it home.

So what will you be doing?

We are looking for our next organised and dedicated Activity Co-ordinator to plan our weekly programme of events to keep our residents busy.

Organise social and therapeutic activities in the home for individuals and groups of residents to promote social inclusion and physical & emotional wellbeing; ensuring that any religious and cultural needs are catered for.

Arrange anniversary, birthday and other special event celebrations and activities in consultation with residents, relatives and colleagues and allowing for inclusion of family members of all ages; ensuring a person-centred approach.

These are just some of the fun things you will be doing as our Activities Coordinator....

You will have an outgoing personality, be friendly and confident. Previous experience engaging and motivating vulnerable is diserable.

Our team want you to know that “You will gain a great amount of personal satisfaction from supporting our residents to live fulfilled and independent lives. It is like one being extended family".
