Summary

Via Gloucestershire are expanding our clinical team and hiring Health and Wellbeing Nurses.

The Role
We are looking to recruit Registered Nurses with a passion for working with people who use substances. Flexible work and job share solutions are available to support work life balance and Via offer a host of great, sector leading benefits, including payment for professional registration fees.

Working with individuals who use alcohol or drugs offers you the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals who are often some of the most vulnerable and stigmatised people in our communities. No two days are the same, you will work with creative and passionate colleagues focused on supporting people in their recovery journey.

The Service
Adult Drug and Alcohol Services across Gloucestershire transferred to Via on 1st April 2024. The role is part of Via’s structure and provides a great opportunity to build on existing service strengths, drive new developments and make a positive impact as part of this new contract.

We have a full time and part time post, working Monday to Friday in our busy community services, providing front line clinical care to people who access treatment.

Location
The full-time post will be based at Gloucester, and the part time post at Cheltenham however, there is some flexibility for the right candidate as there is a requirement to cover other hubs/satellites.

To see the generous range of benefits we offer at Via including 30 days annual leave for all new starters, our health and wellbeing initiatives, financial perks and development opportunities – visit our Benefits Package

For an informal chat about the role please contact Jane Simons, Clinical Lead via Jane.Simons@viaorg.uk or 07522 235605.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 8 December at midnight. However, we are reviewing applications on a rolling basis and encourage interested applicants to apply as soon as possible.
