An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic & self-motivated individual to work in our busy and thriving Endoscopy unit with St Georges University Hospital.
The Endoscopy unit provides facilities for both inpatient and outpatient
investigations. The unit offers a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across 6 specialist rooms. The unit is staffed by a team of experienced endoscopy nurses, gastroenterologists, gastrointestinal surgeons and respiratory physicians, endoscopy booking coordinators, the
endoscopy team leader and is led by the Director of Endoscopy.
The post holder will be part of the Endoscopy day case booking team and be responsible for day case bookings, answering of telephones and liaising with patients, doctors, nurses, secretaries and GPs. The post holder will work as part of a team to provide the admin support for the Endoscopy training courses. The post holder will support the Endoscopy Admin Team across all three Trust sites.
The successful applicant must be computer literate as the role requires a high level of computer awareness. You must also have excellent communication skills, be confident and work well within a team.

The trust also provides care for patients from a larger catchment area in southeast England, for specialties such as complex pelvic trauma. Other services treat patients from all over the country, such as family HIV care and bone marrow transplantation for non-cancer diseases.
