The Integrated CAMHS/Child Psychology Teams across Lancashire and South Cumbria have undergone significant changes.
As part of this change we are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed CAMHS Team Leader to join the teams based at Alfred Barrow centre
Team Leader will work collaboratively with the Service Integration Manager and provide clinical leadership and first line management for their respective team across several bases linked to a designated Children’s Trust Partnership locality/ localities (CCG’s).
To have continuing responsibility for the delivery of high quality service provision by the CAMHS / LD team to ensure delivery of an integrated, responsive and person centred service. To develop and maintain robust partnership working arrangements between the CAMHS or LD/CN teams and community partners and other key stakeholders. To ensure that staff in the CAMHS team have opportunities for continuing professional development, in order to provide evidence based practice, and to drive improvements in standards of practice in line with the NHS modernisation and Public Health agendas.
To lead the implementation of the safeguarding agenda within the CAMHS Team in partnership with the Lancashire and South Cumbria Care safeguarding team. To actively lead in the delivery of the clinical governance, modernisation, quality improvement and performance management agenda within the Team. To manage a reduced clinical caseload and provide direct clinical interventions/ assessments that are high quality, timely and accessible.
Applications are invited from Registered Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists who have experience of working with young people experiencing mental health issues. The post is full time (37.5 hours per week). The post is subject to enhanced DBS clearance.
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
