Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Technician (G5) to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the financial operations of our organization. You will handle financial transactions, assist in preparing financial reports, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies. You will work closely with other team members and departments to facilitate financial planning and budgeting, as well as monitor expenditures and revenues. Responsibilities
Process and record financial transactions accurately and timely.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Provide support for the external audit process as required.
Maintain financial records and documentation in accordance with organizational policies.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Coordinate with other departments to support financial planning initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in finance or accounting roles preferred.
Strong understanding of financial concepts and practices.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
