**IMMEDIATE STARTS**

Earn up to an Additional - £ 1,958.95* - £ 2,195.20* on the lead up to Christmas 2024 (Based on 9 Week Period from 01/11/2024)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group as we are seeking to appoint Warehouse Operatives to collaborate with our Client Pets at Home based in Stafford, ST18.

You will start with Pets at Home's comprehensive, 12-week training programme to get you settled in, confident and ready for every new opportunity.


Warehouse Operative responsibilities:

* Working in the distribution department
* Picking, packing, preparing, and wrapping items ready for dispatch
* Inspecting & quality control of items
* Accurate completion of paperwork
* Pay good diligence
* Working at high speeds and meeting company targets (KPI's)
* Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and always complies with company and legislative standards



Warehouse Operative required skills:

* Driven and motivated to achieve targets set
* Punctual and excellent attendance records
* You will have at least 6 months previous experience within warehouse environment or as a warehouse operative
* Good attitude to work and learn new skills
* Motivated and look for long term work (as our client is looking to keep staff who he can train for long term work)


Warehouse Operative Pay:

* Step 1 - £ 11.44 per hour (Non-Core Work Areas)
* Step 2 - £ 11.69 per hour (Trained in 2 x Core Work Areas including LLOP)
* Night Shift Premium - Basic + 20%
* Overtime (after 37.5 Hours) - Time + ½

*Additional Shift Bonus for Christmas Shifts (9 Week Period from 1st November 2024)

*Christmas Earning Potential Calculated based on Colleague working additional Shift for 9 Week Period from 01/11/2024 to 02/01/2025 - Calculation - Full Basic Week (Step 2 including LLOP) + Additional Overtime Shift with Highest Possible Xmas Shift Bonus



Warehouse Operative Shift:

* Rotational Shifts (06:00 - 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00 - Weekly Rotation)
Sunday to Thursday, Tuesday to Saturday)


*You must be able to follow the weekly rotation shift pattern, we are not currently recruiting for part time roles*
