Laptop / PC Technician

Full Time
Starting rate: £12.00 per hour
SPS Technology are currently recruiting a passionate laptop/pc technician to join the team in Wednesfield, Wolverhampton. Due to business growth, we are looking to expand our teams to meet the demand.
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Repair and refurbish laptops including change of parts such as screens, batteries, keyboards etc
• Test the functionality of repaired laptops to ensure they meet quality standards
• Update BIOS and software as and when required
• Set up new devices for employees
Compulsory Requirements:
• Passionate
• Hardworking
• Attentive to details
• Dedicated and willing to go the extra mile
• Able to communicate effectively
• Organised to be able to deal with variation
• Team player who is happy to share knowledge
• Always looking to improve
Non-compulsory Requirements but preferred:
• Experience dealing with high volumes of devices
• Technical certificates
• Proficient with varied manufacturers e.g. Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple
• Able to do component-level repairs such as soldering
