The Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the students' educational and emotional needs. We are seeking an individual with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to supporting children with severe autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational programs.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure each student's needs are met.
  • Encourage and support students in their personal and social development.

What They're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children with severe autism is highly desirable.
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A sense of humour and a positive attitude-because the SLT believe having 'Bounce' is key!

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) or equivalent experience.
  • A passion for supporting students with additional needs.
