Experience and qualifications for the role:
The individual must have Brahmsabandh (Pushtimargiya initiation).
The individual must have knowledge of the Pushtimargiya faith and a good understanding of Hindu traditions and religious rituals in accordance with Pushtimargiya Scriptures.

Languages required:
English and Gujarati is essential. Knowledge of Sanskrit will be an advantage.

Job Description
Responsible to the Chair of Pushti Nidhi (UK) Ltd.
As follower of Pushtimargiya faith (Path of Grace, a sect of Hinduism) the Minister must be able to perform all the duties as per the scriptures, perform required rituals within Pushtimargiya principles and traditions and to lead the congregation or deliver sermons to the devotees.

Responsibilities and general duties:
The individual will be expected to plan daily rituals and provide spiritual guidance and teach religious values to the congregation
The individual will supervise and guide duties of religious workers and volunteers
The individual will plan and supervise offerings to deities in accordance with Pushtimargiya traditions and within strict guidance of scriptures.
The individual should be able to
- plan and organise all the required items for rituals in advance, according to the day, month and festival of the year in keeping with the Tippani (Hindu lunar calendar).
- perform aarti (ritual of lights)
- supervise and ensure all items used in rituals are stored properly in cupboards provided
- ensure sufficient stocks of all consumables in coordination with Admin department
- lead congregation in performing regular worship and performing rituals
- participate and prepare for all major annual festivals like New Year, Diwali (festival of lights), birth of Lord Krishna, etc) and lead the worship
- give guidance and training to volunteers who can assist in rituals during special occasions and festivals
