About the Role:

Randstad Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to work within our partner schools across Haywards Heath. As an Early Years Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the development of young children during this crucial stage of their education. Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons that foster the social, emotional, and academic growth of each child.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and play.
  • Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback and support to ensure each child reaches their developmental milestones.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers, teaching assistants, and school leaders to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and well-being.
  • Promote positive behaviour and social interaction among children, fostering a sense of community and respect.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching in Early Years or working with young children is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A nurturing and patient approach to teaching young children.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
