Summary

The Clinical Oncology Department at North Middlesex University Hospital serves a population that includes patients from West Essex and North and West Hertfordshire Clinical Commissioning Groups through PAH, and the majority of those living in Enfield and Haringey. The department provides multidisciplinary and multimodality care for all common cancers, some specialist cancers and links in with the Network for more specialised tumours. The cancer service attracts 2500 new referrals per annum which is rising on a yearly basis, and is supported by surgical services which are sub-specialised.

We work within a multi-ethnic population with a high index of deprivation. This is both a challenging and a fascinating hospital to work in.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to the role of Patient Pathway Officer within the Oncology and Radiotherapy department to give a high level of patient service.

Successful candidates will liaise directly with members of the public as well as hospital staff, dealing with highly sensitive and confidential patient information. Candidates will require excellent communication and organisational skills.
