Summary
Neway has a vacancy for a Transforming Cities Fund Project Delivery Manager to join our client based with North Yorkshire Council.
Starting asap, working 37 hours a week on an ongoing contract.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the planning, design, procurement, and implementation of transport schemes within the North Yorkshire elements of Leeds City Region’s Transforming Cities Fund programme.
• Work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the programme.
• Monitor and report on the progress of schemes, managing consultants and budgetary control.
• Liaise with district council partners, external stakeholders, and senior managers to ensure successful programme delivery.
Requirements:
• Strong project management skills, particularly within transport or infrastructure projects.
• In depth knowledge of relevant guidance and legislation.
• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Ability to manage statutory procedures, budgets, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience working with external partners, such as WYCA, Network Rail, and transport operators.
