Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School is recruiting a part-time permanent Foreign Language Assistant (German) to provide practical teaching and learning support to students studying GCSE and A-Level German.

We are looking to appoint a fluent German speaker who would like to contribute to a vibrant and highly successful Modern Foreign Languages department.

We currently deliver French, Spanish and German across all key stages. All students study a language at GCSE with a large number opted to continue to A level.

The department has enjoyed considerable success in recent years with outstanding results at GCSE and A Level. The department also leads a range of extracurricular activities and educational visits. This includes our annual exchange visits and our whole school International Week.
