About the Academy:

Outwood Academy Riverside, founded in September 2020 through the Free Schools Programme, implements the Riverside values program for all students at the start of every academic year.

The academy is dedicated to the wide variety of students who enrol, ensuring strong routines and top-notch pastoral care for all pupils.

Located at Russell Street, Middlesbrough, Outwood Academy Riverside is set to have a new school built on Pioneering Way close to Middlesbrough College. Additionally, a satellite site in Eston will open in September 2024 as the school continues to grow.

About the Role:

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to provide efficient and effective support to the Principal and act as a member of the academy’s Senior Leadership Team. In this role you will be responsible for confirming the receipt of incoming and prioritising appropriately in alignment with the management of the principals diary. Other duties will involve providing administrative support during academy meetings, clerking meetings and preparing agendas.

In addition, the post holder will assume the responsibility of Office Manager; line managing the academy’s Reception/Admin function. As the Clerk to the Academy Council, the post holder will clerk all meetings and provide administrative support on behalf of the Chair.

Applicants should hold a good level of administrative abilities and experience, ideally holding a relevant level 3 qualification, such as Business Administration. It is essential that applicants have experience in a personal assistant role, or similar posts.
