Summary
WHAT YOULL DO: Duties include ward cover of the paediatric cardiology ward, outpatient clinic work and on-call (including out of hours). In addition, you will have input into the care of congenital heart disease on the paediatric and neonatal intensive care units and on the general paediatric wards. As well as clinical evaluation, you will be expected to perform echocardiographic assessment as necessary, but will be provided appropriate training and support to undertake this. Participation within multidisciplinary meetings and other educational activities within the department is expected and research encouraged. WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR We are looking for dynamic, motivated and hardworking individuals who are interested in developing their knowledge and skills in paediatric cardiology. You need to be a team player with good communication skills. Previous paediatric experience, including being conversant with the management of paediatric emergencies is essential.
