Summary
Bethesda Medical Centre Job Description: Practice Nurse Accountable to: Senior Practice Nurse Terms of Reference: To assist the Senior Practice Nurse in providing the best nursing service and care to Practice patients within the surgery or community. Main Responsibilities: 1. Dressing of Wounds and Leg Ulcers 2. Undertaking Dopplar Assessments 3. Removal of Sutures and Clips 4. Undertake Treatment Room Activities 5. Record Data on Patient Computerised Clinical Record (EMIS Web) 6. Undertaking any other duties and training which may be assigned to the Practice Nurse by the Senior Practice Nurse 7. On-going support /mentorship of HCAs/trainees
