Our people are the driving force of our organisation, and we are committed to having a talented workforce who will have positive impacts on our communities What we need We are looking for an experienced and qualified professional to join our amazing Talking Therapies team as a Highly Specialist Psychological Therapist to provide life-changing support for people living with complex mental health needs. We provide a high quality psychological service to individuals with moderate- complex mental health needs. As well as working with individuals, undertaking assessments and evidence based interventions, you will support the Clinical Lead in the development and implementation of effective Clinical Governance across the Service, and work collaboratively with colleagues to provide advice on the best approach to care. Some flexibility in working hours may be required to ensure we cover service delivery hours. This can be discussed with the successful individual. About you To be successful in this role you will need to hold a relevant clinical qualification linked to psychology or mental health (see person spec) and have experience of working with adults. You should be able to work in line with professional guidelines, with a best practice approach to service delivery. You need to have exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families and other professionals, and develop effective therapeutic relationships. You will be able to maintain high quality clinical records and be able to maintain a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive or distressing problems.
