Summary


We have an exciting opportunity for 2 full time positions to work in our Gynaecology department based on the Royal Free, Hampstead site. Both roles are Band 4 Patient Navigator roles.

The roles will be based in the heart of our Obstetric and Gynaecology department on the ground floor and will be required to work as part of a multi disciplinary team.

Work as part of a team within a dedicated speciality/patient group to ensure that all administrative functions for patients from the time of GP referral to the time of discharge are coordinated in line with specific care pathway instructions to facilitate the smooth running of the patients’ journey. Where a patient has multiple specialist needs, assist the patient in coordinating their pathways to reduce multiple appointments across the Trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Gynaecology department at the Royal FreeHospital as a Patient Navigator. This is a permanent positions and will be based on the ground floor in the Obs and Gynae department in the Royal Free hospital.

We are looking for a positive and motivated person with an eye for detail to join our team.

The successful candidate is required to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have:
• Previous experience of working with the public and/or patients in a healthcare environment
• Experience of interacting with staff at all levels
• Previous administrative and organisational experience
• Experience of managing and prioritising own workload and working to deadlines
• Experience of dealing with non-routine and complex problems
