Summary

To provide practical training to staff at all levels in direct relation to role. To promote the value and importance of the DW in day to day contact with stakeholders To support the Data Warehouse Colleagues in leading change processes across the delivery of Information services To, when required, allocate and monitor the work of more junior staff in the Informatics Service To maintain Change Control and Data Warehouse documentation as appropriate and as directed To facilitate working relationships across different functions of the Informatics service to ensure joint working and close understanding of issues and priorities To lead developments, creating specifications and making recommendation to suit business and clinical need, implementing, and maintaining EPR system development across the Trust in line with requirements. To understand business need and clinical need and make recommendations to staff on how this should be reflected in EPR Developments Be responsible for managing the copyright licenses associated with Electronic assessment forms within the EPR and maintaining the Trusts Assessment Licences Log. To develop and maintain the skills required to complete EPR systems development. To develop and maintain an understanding of the tools utilised to build workflows and forms within the Trusts EPR systems To build EPR workflows, forms and associated system automations requiring technical system administration input. Designing these and adapting them to meet the needs of frontline services and team analysts To develop and maintain an understanding of the role of Data Services in the organisation. How this impact can be captured and promoted through further EPR development. To support the development of Trust EPR Systems and workflows to ensure the specification meets the needs of the organisation To support managers and clinicians in their use and interpretation of information Understanding the needs and keeping up to date with the requirements of frontline services in respect of system requirements and automation To lead and maintain robust SOPs and adhere to change management procedures for the development, design, build and edit of automated processes To liaise with System Suppliers as required ensuring that developments make best use of the system functionality. To adhere to strategies and policies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and other standards aimed at ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and support others to do the same
