Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Premises Assistant to join our site team, working to ensure that the school and its facilities are maintained and operational, secure, safe and tidy. This includes keyholder duties to open the school, assisting setting up halls with furniture, assisting with site maintenance tasks, porterage duties, grounds maintenance and litter picking.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and reliable. There may be occasions when relief cover is required due to colleague absence (e.g. planned holiday or sickness) or for specific events and community lettings. It is therefore essential that applicants can be flexible and work additional hours or an alternative work pattern, as far as this is possible. The ability to work constructively as part of a team and to undertake manual handling is essential. There may be a requirement for lone working as part of this role.
