TeacherActive are excited to be recruiting Teaching Assistants / TAs to work in a Specialist School for students with severe & profound learning difficulties / PLD & SLD, between Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS – Key Stage 4 / KS4.
This role will consist of providing 1:1 support, working in small groups & assisting teachers with classroom management. These schools are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants / TAs for long term roles, which can be full time or part time.
The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:
• SEND Knowledge & Experience working with SEND students.
• Behaviour De-Escalation skills.
• The ability to build meaningful relationships with pupils and have good communication skills.
