Summary

TP Tutors are currently working with the Local Authority in Hartlepool to seek a confident and compassionate tutor.

This tutor will need to have extensive experience working with SEND children in order to provide education for a child who is currently out of a mainstream setting.

Tutor Requirements:
- Experience of working with ASD and SEMH needs
- Confident working with challenging behaviour and apply behaviour strategies accordingly
- Professional Teaching Qualification is preferred (QTS) or significant tutoring experience
- An enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors

The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging 1:1 sessions
- Assess the child's progress and provide constructive feedback
- Work alongside child's EHCP and adapt teaching style accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress and achievements via LEAP reports

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
