Applications are invited for an exciting post as a trust-grade Stroke Medicine Registrar to join the team at the Royal London Hospital. This post is available immediately.
The post provides medical cover to the 26-bedded stroke unit at the Royal London Hospital. These comprise 12 hyperacute (HASU) beds serving the inner north east sector of London (one of the 8 London HASUs) plus 14
acute stroke unit (ASU) beds for Tower Hamlets.
This post attracts a category 1A banding supplement equivalent to 50% of basic salary. There is a resident out of hours oncall commitment working a 1:9 rota covering thrombolysis calls, stroke referrals and stroke inpatients.
