Summary
The successful applicant will carry their own caseload providing CBT for a range of severe mental health presentations. They will undertake specialist CBT assessment, formulation and intervention, collaborating with clients and multi-disciplinary colleagues. The role involves undertaking risk assessment and management. The consideration of culture, power and privilege within a patient care making adaptations to treatment as appropriate They will provide advice, guidance and consultation on Cognitive Behaviourally informed approaches to other staff. Person Specification: Specialist CBT Therapist Practitioner or First Accreditation as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with BABCP AND A qualification that leads to registration with a professional regulatory body and current registration OR a Knowledge Skills Attitude (KSA) equivalence portfolio approved as part of BABCP accreditation. OR A core profession recognised by BABCP. AND Registered with a professional regulatory body. AND Substantial experience demonstrating a breadth of experience in two or more mental health settings to meet KSA requirements.
