Summary
Duties will include but not limited to: Achieving and maintaining in-house competencies for the preparation of medicines. Promoting Good Manufacturing Practice throughout the working area, following written procedures and COSHH guidelines to ensure safety of the medicinal product, patient, and staff. To prioritise and organise daily workload to ensure the requirements of the service and patients are met in full and organise workflow in the designated area (aseptic, manufacturing, or clinical trials). Concentration will be required for periods of one to two hours sessionally to prepare products and documents. Carry out self and in process checks throughout the production process. The post holder must contribute to preparing products to meet the production plan. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring adverse occurrences are recorded and reported via the Trust incident reporting system in a timely manner.
