Summary
The Best Connection are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Operative to join our well known client based in Alfreton!!
Key skills/experience: Carry out inspections, fault finding and troubleshooting activities around the equipment Ensure all work is carried out in line with relevant health & safety legislation Assist with planned maintenance across the recycling site in a timely and safe manner ensuring maintenance procedures are followed Update records of work activities, tasks carried out, and parts used Respond to and diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolving issues and actioning repairs Fault finding and resolving of electrical issues Work effectively as part of the team representing the values and standards of the company If you have any specific licenses or certificates, abrasive wheels; scissor lift etc. This would be extremely beneficial. Rate of pay: £15.00 per hour, time and a half & double time overtime rates in place Hours of work: Training would be carried on the day shift, once competent, you will then be required to work on the night shift, which is 2300-0600, Sunday to Thursday A full up to date CV is required for this role outlining similar experience within a previous role!
