Crynodeb
Three Rivers District Council is seeking to recruit additional refuse loaders to its high-ranking and award-winning Waste Service Department based at its Batchworth Depot in Rickmansworth.
Applicants will be required to work as part of a team to collect all types of waste from residential properties and commercial businesses. You must be physically fit and prepared to work outside in all weathers. The post holder must demonstrate good interpersonal skills. No experience is necessary as training will be given. Due to the diversity of work and the high-profile nature of the services, the successful applicant will need to work well under pressure.
Three Rivers newly adopted Behaviours and Values are extremely important to us and therefore you must also be extremely polite and customer-focused whilst working in the public domain. Health and Safety is also paramount and all employees will be issued with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and will undertake full induction training on the safe use of vehicles and lifting equipment and appropriate manual handling techniques upon commencement. You are required to display safe working techniques at all times.
In return for your dedication and commitment, Three Rivers offers:
· A full set of uniform and PPE.
· Annual Personal Development meeting (one-to-one meeting).
· Training Opportunities including LGV, CPC, and Supervisory are available.
· Discounted Gym membership at council-owned Leisure centre.
