Summary
We’re not going to lie when we say we are looking for somebody who can do itall-from Construction and Surveying to Engineering, the position ofSenior Project Manageris a varied and rewarding role.
We are looking for a highly customer focused individual with strong leadership skills and project management experience, who can lead a team of project support staff and contractors.
You will ideally be from an architectural, surveying, construction, engineering or building background and will be highly motivated with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in the Estates field.
You will provide a professional capital and property project management role for the Trust and will be accountable for delivering projects in their entirety from inception to completion to improve the environment for patients and staff.
Working in a small team, you will be expected to provide cover for each other and lend your skills across all projects.

You will support the Assistant Director (Acting), Building, Capital & Property by providing a professional capital project management service for the Trust, including advice on all strategic and operational issues. This will include specialist advice on Local Planning and Building Regulations applications, and manage the operational delivery of the Trust’s approved Capital Projects. The main responsibilities will include:
• Overall responsibility for commissioning, project managing and delivering Trust capital projects
• To be responsible for client engagement in delivering projects
• To develop feasibility studies and project briefs
• Manages departmental project staff & external professional consultants (Architects, Building Services Engineers, Structural Engineers, Quantity Surveyors & Planning Supervisors).
• Liaise with statutory authorities on projects and property management
• Communicates with, and provide expert professional advice to key stakeholders
• To be a member of the Senior Management Team and support the delivery of an integrated Capital & Property management function for the Trust
• To lead on the provision of a comprehensive property management service for the Trust
