If so then Glyndwr Innovations Ltd (GIL), a subsidiary of Wrexham University located at the OpTIC Technology Centre in St Asaph, has an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will play an important part in our operations, working with our commercial customers to understand their requirements to create designs and technical documentation for complex optical systems including opto-mechanical and structural assemblies.

GIL is renowned for designing and manufacturing high-end optical components and systems for an international clientele. We are seeking candidates with engineering design experience within a specialist optical engineering environment.

Additionally, you will provide and communicate design review reports in accordance with internal procedures. High-level IT skills and experience with finite element analysis of structures are essential.
