Job Title: Pastoral Manager Actual Starting Salary: £27,964 - £30,146 per annum. Actual salary £23,945 Hours: 37 Hours per week, Term Time Only + 5 Inset Days Contract: Fixed Term until 31 August 2025 We are looking for an Pastoral Manager to join our supportive and talented team at Tewkesbury Academy. Tewkesbury Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation, and is a well-established school at the heart of the historic market town of Tewkesbury providing an education to a cohort of 1200 plus students, aged 11-18. We are well placed at Junction 9 of the M5 and close to the Cotswolds, the Malvern Hills and the historic towns of Gloucester, Worcester and Cheltenham. We are passionate about staff work-life balance throughout the Academy. What we are looking for: The role of Pastoral Manager is a fast-paced and varied role. The successful candidate will work to ensure the welfare, safety, attendance, academic engagement and emotional wellbeing of the young people within the academy. They will promote and model the Academy’s culture of high-expectation and achievement and assist in ensuring the smooth running of the academy on a day to day basis. This will support in providing an excellent setting in which students can maximise learning opportunities and overcome learning barriers.
