Production Operative
Hamble-le-Rice, Southampton SO31
Pay rate: £13.40ph - £18.50ph
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work at one of our sites as a Production Operative at our long-standing global client offers a great working environment, full training and a competitive package.
Production Operative responsibilities:
* Operating of machinery, input and removal of materials
* Recording of production data
* Handling and processing of the finished product
* High attention to detail and quality inspection
* Work with the team to ensure the workplace cleanliness is maintained
* Understand and adhere to company health and safety standards.
Production Operative required skills:
* Enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual
* Good communication skills
* Good attitude to work and learn new skills
* Ability to work with minimum supervision
Production Operative work environment:
* The immediate work area is open plan with lots of moving equipment with team members in close proximity
* Controlled manufacturing environment with a clean room area with gowning procedure required e.g. all hair covered, legs covered, no make-up and no heels
* Some of our work areas have a high level of noise. Where this is above prescribed limits PPE is supplied and must be worn
Production Operative Pay & Shifts:
* 7am-7pm, 4 Days On 4 Days Off at £13.40p/h - Overtime £18.50p/h
* 7pm-7am, 4 Nights On 4 Nights Off at £15.55p/h - Overtime £18.50/h
