Power Press
We are seeking a skilled Power Press Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in operating hydraulic power presses and be capable of setting and operating press machinery up to 100 tons.
Power Press Responsibilities
- Set up and operate hydraulic power press machinery up to 100 tons according to specifications
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality production and safe operation
- Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues
- Adhere to safety procedures and company policies at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a power press operator, specifically with hydraulic power presses
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Physical strength and stamina to perform the tasks required
Day-to-Day
- Set up press machinery for specific production runs
- Operate machinery to produce precision parts
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the press machinery
- Address any operational issues that arise during the production process
