We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Support Officer to join our friendly and dynamic team working across MSEFT.

You will work closely with the Associate Director of Nursing (ADoN) and the General Manager for Oncology to provide dedicated project & administrative support, working alongside the team to coordinate, support, and deliver cancer Projects, liaising with team leaders, clinical areas & external organisations.

****Fixed Term contract to end 31 March 2025****

The Cancer Division Project Support Officer is a key post. In conjunction with the ADoN for cancer division and General Manager for Oncology this post will manage and deliver the objectives of the Cancer Division Oncology portfolio in line with the Trust’s strategy, quality, compliance, and business plans. You will provide support on multiple projects under direction from the ADoN for cancer division and General Manager for Oncology. The post will be responsible for supporting the delivery of projects with demanding timeframes and budget.
• Provide a dedicated Project Officer and administration role to the ADoN for cancer division to include leading on Ad Hoc projects
• Support the development of effective Project support service to the ADoN for cancer division.
• Support appropriate reporting to Divisional, ICS, ICB and others by providing a high-quality project, service and administrative function including information analysis.
• Develop & maintain good communication and relationships internally and with external organisations.
• Participate in relevant internal & external working groups.
• Communicate information and escalate issues to Line manager as appropriate.
• To support project up skilling programmers.
• Contribute to and where required, draft reports for Forums, groups and external agencies.
• Lead on updating and distribution of the Cancer Nurse Specialist Education and training newsletter. In conjunction with the cancer education leads for Cancer division MSE.
