Environmental Health Officer needed in Trowbridge, £39.89ph PAYE - Reference: RQ1324289
Based in Trowbridge. Hybrid working - 2-3 days in the office or in the field.
- We are looking for a candidate ideally with an Environmental Health Degree with experience of Development Control regime. This means an understanding of the core areas of Environmental Protection including knowledge of land contamination, Local Air Quality Management, Amenity (Noise, light, Odour, smoke etc) Environmental Permitting, the NPPF, relevant British and ISO standards, professional guidance and how the Development control regime works.
Monitoring and enforcement of prescribed regulatory areas, which will include but not limited to, recommendations regarding infringement, resolution advice, event based activities. Provision ofservices of a technical, vocational or specialist operational nature to internal and external customers.
To provide legal / regulatory /statutory monitoring and enforcement support within a specific work area.
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
