We currently have an opportunity for a Recruitment Officer covering the Leeds area.
Based at the Club’s Training Ground in Wetherby, the Recruitment Officer will support the identification and assessment of young players with potential to join LUFC academy within foundation & Youth Phases, Will assist in identification, recruitment and scouting strategies across the player performance pathway in Leeds and surrounding areas

Main Job Responsibilities:
• Provide key support to our Head of Local Recruitment and Pre Academy Manager in the identification and assessment of young players aged 6 -14 in local football including grassroots, schools, private academies and tournaments throughout the year.
• To build a in depth database and knowledge of local players 6 -14 in the catchment areas assigned.
• To provide written performance reports from live games attended to support the decision making process .
• Develop an internal knowledge of current LUFC Academy players
• To contribute to any projects/CPD/Meetings LUFC recruitment may ask you to support .
• Promote a positive identity of LUFC to parents, local grassroots coaches and Clubs within your region.
• Develop and build key relationships with local clubs and external organisations in the catchment area for recruitment sources
• Undertake travel requirements to fulfil the role
• Administrative duties linked to the role
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
• Working knowledge and scouting experience in local grassroots football
• FA level 2 Talent Identification.
• Use of technology to support talent identification process
• Network & contacts within local and schools football, especially the catchment area
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
