DWP is looking to fill 4 roles in Contract Management Partner Delivery (CMPD) directorate.
The Controls and Assurance Division are responsible for supporting the delivery of our nationally contracted health assessment services and employment support provisions. .
Some of the keys roles are:
The manual validation of payments to ensure validity and maximise value for money.
Undertaking pre-payment checks and validation of costs by external suppliers using secure methods of communication.
Ensuring evidence provided supports invoices.
Calculation of any errors and resolving and disputed items.
Updating of internal IT systems as required.
Good IT and numerical skills are essential.

Birmingham, 3 Arena Central, Bridge Street, Birmingham B1 2AX
Leeds – Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS2 7UA.
Newcastle – Benton Park View, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE98 1BA.
Sheffield – Hartshead Square, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S1 2FD.
Manchester – 2 St Peter’s Square, Manchester, M2 3AA.

Successful candidates can be expected to be involved with:
- Undertaking of administrative duties e.g. Inbox Management, updating of internal IT systems as required: Databases/Excel etc.
- Being able to communicate clearly and with confidence, using a variety of methods.
- The ability to draft clear and accurate written communications, using plain and simple language.
- Booking and taking part in virtual Microsoft Teams calls with stakeholders
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
- Preparing Management Information (MI) for delivery to key stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of operational processes in line with DWP’s strategic objectives.
- Having an awareness of wider issues and a consideration of other priorities within your area.
- Handle multiple and/or competing tasks and demonstrate flexibility, according to business need and often at pace.
