Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Hydraulic Modeller to join our team! Work alongside like-minded professionals, reporting to the Water Network Modelling

Manager and under the guidance of the Modelling Lead. Dive into clean water network modelling projects using InfoWater and InfoWorks WS Pro. Drive best practices and innovation towards near-real-time modelling with IWLive. Join a core team shaping growth, development planning, and business strategy.

What you’ll be doing as a Hydraulic Modeller

- Hydraulic model building: collection and analysis of network and operational data, assembly into network models, including calibration and verification where needed.
- Maintenance of the hydraulic modelling central library.
- Conversion to and development of WS Pro models, including the live components.
- Carrying out studies using the models.
- Delivering excellent customer service and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder engagement, including operations, strategic control, and asset management.
- Develop, use, and maintain hydraulic models to fulfil business requirements. Provide specialist, area-specific advice and solutions to network challenges. Be an active part of the evolution of the Network Modelling function and a cheerful voice for change.
- We are building, utilising, and maintaining our centralised water network model library for use in network planning and projects to optimise existing network assets and design and commission new capital schemes.

Hybrid – Hampton Coal Wharf or Clearwater Court, you will be required to go into the office 2-3 days a week.

36 hours a week, Monday through Friday. We are also open to applications from candidates who require part-time hours.

What you should bring to the role

- We are looking for someone with solid Clean Water WS Pro experience who is passionate about hydraulic modelling and excited about the opportunity to advance near-real-time modelling at this scale.
- You’ll ideally be interested in becoming chartered in a related field.
- With previous exposure to network modelling software, you’ll have a demonstrable understanding of water networks or network models.
