We are looking to recruit another support worker who can provide support on Thursday afternoons for 2 ½ per week after school and possibly holiday cover for the existing two support workers.
The support is provided on a 2:1 basis and therefore the successful applicant would always be working alongside one of the existing support workers.
The role is to enable the non-verbal child with diagnosis of Autism and ADHD to access age-appropriate leisure activities within the local community.
You will also be required to help him with his communication skills, his personal care and be able to respond sensitively, confidently and positively to any changes in behaviour.
Rate of Pay: £13.09 per hour
Hours Breakdown: 2.5 Hours per week on a Thursday afternoon
