Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team for our Care home Client. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to patients, assist with clinical tasks, and oversee junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Assist with mobility and physical activities
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Administer medication under supervision
• Support and mentor junior healthcare assistants
• Observe and report changes in patient conditions
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Provide emotional support to patients
• Participate in training and professional development
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant
• Strong communication and observational skills
• Ability to work in a team and lead junior staff
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
