Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Product Design Engineer to join a business with an international representation in more than 110 countries.
Based in East Kent, paying up to £50,000/annum depending on experience, working Monday to Friday, flexible working offered across core hours and 25+8 days holiday with the option to buy a further five days holiday. Parking, health care, work place pension or enhanced pension offered, team days and most importantly, a competitive salary in line with the candidates current experience.
The Product Design Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design engineering team producing new and revised mechanical products for machining and assembly. Ideally you will already have solid experience within design engineering of mechanical products, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ME and or EE) or equivalent as well as demonstrable experience of Autodesk AutoCAD or Inventor.
About you:
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Proficient IT Skills with strong computer aided drafting experience (Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor etc)
- Solid experience as a Product Design Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer
- Degree educated within Engineering or equivalent
- SAP or other ERP systems experience
- Demonstrable project management experience.
