Our Building Services division provides complete Facilities Management of properties throughout the UK, providing mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering and grounds maintenance on a planned and reactive basis, using technological solutions to manage our teams in the most efficient ways.
We are looking for a M&E Multi Skilled Engineer with a Mechanical bias to join the Commercial Property Maintenance team on a commercial building based in Central London.
The purpose of the role will be to carry out the day to day servicing of the Mechanical & Electrical Infrastructure and the ability to carry out breakdown maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
You’ll:
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements and to assist in any training of the team.
Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on all associated equipment, including fault finding and repair
Carry out inspection of Mechanical & Electrical equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation in accordance with agreed procedures and company quality standards.
Provide technical incident reports where requested and provide supporting documentation of incidents.
Participate in the upkeep of records on servicing of plant and equipment and maintaining the plant asset registers.
Complete material requests forms to maintain stock levels.
Participate in adherence to Skanska Quality System documentation.
Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time this includes the generation of Permit to Works
We’re looking for:
Recognized apprenticeship
City & Guild level 2 minimum / NVQ level 3 minimum
Knowledge of control systems
Knowledge of HVAC systems
L8 Water Treatment Management
IOSH Working Safely minimum
