We are seeking a Deputy Manager to work at Winsford Grange, a care home facility specialising in dementia care. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality care for residents and effective management of staff.
Winsford Grange is set within large well-maintained gardens situated on the outskirts of Winsford and benefits from the glorious Cheshire countryside. It is a purpose built 60 bedded care home which provides specialist nursing care to older people and people living with dementia.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support staff in providing compassionate care to residents
• Manage medication administration and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
• Coordinate and oversee activities within the care home to promote resident well-being
• Assist in developing care plans and conducting assessments for new residents
• Handle administrative tasks and maintain accurate records related to resident care
• Implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and nurturing environment
Requirements:
• Must be a registered nurse with active NMC pin
• Previous experience in senior care, nursing home, or home care settings
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
• Proficient in managing staff, resources, and maintaining high standards of care
• Knowledge of dementia care best practices and medication administration protocols
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
