Summary

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our talent pool in Grimsby. This part-time role involves providing support for pupils with additional needs across the National Curriculum and is available for immediate start. Initially, this position is temporary to meet the needs of the Alternative Provision school, with the potential to become permanent.

This Specialist Provision school caters to pupils with SEN, SEMH, and learning disabilities from EYFS to KS5. Our goal is to ensure pupils can safely access learning and adapted resources. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide inclusive support five days a week to promote positive academic, social, emotional, and developmental progression. You must be confident in supporting vulnerable young people and adolescents with a range of SEND needs.
- Full and relevant Teaching Assistant/SEN Support qualification or equivalent
- Previous SEN experience
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- Enhanced DBS disclosure or willingness to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK (unfortunately, we cannot offer Visa Sponsorship)
