Summary

The Hertfordshire Adult Eating Disorders Service is currently consolidating its expansion to enable delivery of FREED (First episode Rapid Early intervention for Eating Disorders) (see https://freedfromed.co.uk/), alongside their existing service. The post holder has primary responsibility for ensuring its smooth and effective implementation. This will involve considerable liaison with Primary Care Services, education and promotion of the treatment pathway. The post holder manages all referrals for this pathway and offers initial triage, as well as providing a clinical service to people experiencing an eating disorder. The post holder is based with the expanding Eating Disorders Service for Adults in Hertfordshire. The primary focus for the post holder is in working with clients accessing treatment through the FREED pathway, though the post holder will also contribute to, and is part of, the broader team.In addition, the post holder is responsible for liaising and working with other professionals as appropriate, alongside the promotion and development in the service of the FREED approach.
