It would be an advantage if candidates have some knowledge of Hospitality and/or Catering but it is not essential, however, a willingness to learn whilst gaining a qualification is required.
To operate in our professional kitchen we are looking for one production chef apprentice who will be preparing and cooking a wide range of menu items. You will be given full training and complete a nationally recognised qualification working alongside our experienced team.
We are offering a 30-hour contact with flexible hours over a 7-day period (some late shifts may be required). We are looking to pay the Apprentice wage £6.40 but this will be reviewed every 12 weeks and will increase dependent on performance. (*See scale below). This job is not 9-5 but has massive rewards and developmental opportunities for the right candidate.
*Scale of Apprentice Pay
First12 week block ….…£6.40 p.h
Second12 week block...£7.50 (dependent on satisfactory completion of first block)
Third 12 week block……£8.50 (dependent on satisfactory completion of second block)
Fourth 12 week block…£10.50 (dependent on satisfactory completion of third block)
Once qualified and selected for employment within company £12.00 per hour
