Summary
We are a BHS Approved Livery Yard and one of very few British schools with equestrian facilities on the campus. Your duties will include caring for our ten riding school horses plus our student livery horses.
Duties will include all aspects of horse care e.g;
Grooming
Mucking out
Trimming and clipping
Plaiting
Lunging training
Riding and exercise of horses
Health care
Feeding
Assisting with running of events
Assisting with customer care and experience
Support with completing Functional skills if required
Training
All training provided at the employers premises, with the employer and supported by Haddon Training.
Qualifications required
Maths and English GCSE passes desirable but not essential. If you have not achieved these grades, Haddon Training will support you in gaining Functional Skills qualifications in maths and English whilst you complete your apprenticeship.
Skills required
Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, logical, team working, creative and taking initiative!
Prospects
Possible future employment with the School should a Groom position be available.

Duration 12 months
