SWIFT Childcare are currently working with Nursery Settings in the London area, who are looking to recruit staff to join their busy, energetic and supportive teams.
The Nest Nursery- They offer a nurturing environment, taking time to settle in children at their pace, sharing with parents the culture of the setting. They offer plenty of opportunities for parents and families to give them their ideas and thoughts about what they are doing, day to day and week to week, in particular celebrating cultural experiences and religious events throughout the year. Their nursery boasts a range of facilities carefully designed to cater to every aspect of a child's well-rounded development. Their outdoor play areas are vibrant spaces where children can explore, play, and connect with nature, promoting physical fitness and a love for the great outdoors. Inside, their nursery is a treasure trove of learning resources, from age-appropriate books and educational toys to interactive technology that sparks curiosity and supports early learning milestones.
The main responsibilities of this job role will include:
* Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
* Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
* Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
* Being a team player.
* Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children
* Taking part in First Aid training as required
* Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery
* Working with teams across the nursery setting
* Supporting children’s learning and development.
* Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
* Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
* Supporting children’s self-help needs.
* Being creative and enthusiastic.
* Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.
Level 3 Early Years Educator - Your apprenticeship will last for 13 months. You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within the nursery. You will be working full time in the nursery. Your classroom days will be based online as a remote session which you will need to be fully available for, and your main childcare apprenticeship work will be done in a nursery local to you.
You will need to have been living in the UK for a minimum of 3 years and hold Maths and English GCSE at Grace C/4 or above or equivalent Functional Skills at Level 2.
