About The Company
We are looking to appoint an Online Games Art Teacher to become a member of our team as part of a cutting-edge online educational programme. This role would suit a teacher who is looking to specialize in an innovative educational setting, to grow into an organization overtime and is looking for the flexibility of a part-time, remote working role.
Ambito (part of the Salutem Care Group) are developing an exciting new Online Education Provision, aiming to provide high quality education programes delivered via the virtual environment. The provision caters for students who are struggling to access mainstream schooling due to complex needs. All students will be able to follow a differentiated National Curriculum, with the aim of building their confidence to the point of either re-integration or recognized qualification success.

The school launched in September 2023 and are in the process of growing our provision to reach all those who need us. This role offers the opportunity to grow with the school as we endeavour to meet the demand from local authorities across the country.
Staff and students will benefit from small class sizes, homeworking, bespoke CPD and ongoing support from expert staff across the Salutem network. Staff will be able to work with an exciting, bespoke, project-based curriculum designed to build confidence, engage the dis-engaged and build a life-long love of learning.
Job description:

- ➔Deliver a project-based curriculum that will inspire and engage young people who have been disengaged from traditional education.

- ➔Manage the administration of lesson resources on the online education platform.
- ➔Monitor and report on attendance to lessons, engaging with the relevant professionals or guardians where necessary.
- ➔Measure and monitor progress using no-grade feedback methods to support the students in building a growth-mindset.
- ➔Provide students with regular, high-quality feedback
- ➔Work alongside a network of professionals to ensure the progress of the young people on our programme.


Person Specification:

- ➔Commitment to the school’s values and mission and willingness to contribute to the school’s ethos and development.
- ➔Experience of teaching with a commitment to developing outstanding practise.
- ➔Undergraduate degree in a related subject
- ➔Desire to work in a specialist, virtual setting, and commitment to development of skills in this area
- ➔Excellent communication skills
- ➔Commitment to curriculum diversity and representation
- ➔Excellent IT and organisational skills
- ➔An interest in working with children with complex needs
- ➔An understanding of the landscape of Music Production Qualifications.

- ➔A proven record of the ability to form positive and trusting relationships with students from challenging backgrounds based on consistency, firm boundaries and making learning exciting and challenging.
- ➔A professional attitude that is open to learning, innovative ways of working, accepting of change and school development, flexible and adaptable when faced with challenges and problems.
- ➔A strong understanding of safeguarding.
- ➔Comfortable with Apple iPad interface
